Shane Simmons is a producer and actor working in Chicago and Iowa. He recently produced episodic "Bettendorf Talks" (SXSW '24), as well as Kendall Goldberg’s debut feature WHEN JEFF TRIED TO SAVE THE WORLD, Michael Glover Smith's MERCURY IN RETROGRADE, and Stephen Cone’s HENRY GAMBLE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY. He runs Elevated Films Chicago as its executive director, where they create unique independent film events and develop resources and hands-on opportunities for youth filmmakers. Shane has a passion to champion films that dig deeper into human connection and offer a new perspective of our world and what it might become.
